Pascale and Tim, a Franco-British couple, look forward to welcoming you to the Chai Catalan in its picturesque setting on the Roussillon plain between Perpignan and Collioure, 12km from the Mediterranean Sea and the beaches of Saint-Cyprien and Argelès.
In this old converted winery, built into the medieval village walls, you will find 4 spacious bedrooms. Each bedroom is different in style but all benefit from high quality bedding and modern amenities (en-suite, satellite tv with inbuilt dvd player, wi-fi, tea & coffee making facilities, hairdryer).
These rooms open onto a central glass-roofed atrium reserved for the sole use of our guests. In the garden, you can enjoy moments of leisure in the shade of the palm and centuries-old olive trees or take a refreshing dip in the swimming pool.
The Chai Catalan is ideally placed for you to discover the region and its natural, historical and cultural treasures. French Catalonia is a land of contrasts with a great historical and cultural heritage set in an extraordinary natural setting. Mountains and sea, forests, rivers and lakes merge and converge under the Mediterranean sun. All the wonders of this land are yours to discover during your stay: prehistoric and roman remains, Cathar castles and medieval forts, gothic, baroque and modern art, and the natural world.
Spain, of course, is just a short drive away and you can plan to visit Girona and its historical centre, Figueras and the Dali Museum, Cadaques and Portlligat on the coast.
